Started as a rapid day, woke up,showered, shorten my beard and cut my nails.Iron my clothes. Were driven to my niece's house.Had brteakfast and small launch becuase i wanted to go out with my cousin and twin.Watched Tv and some Batman comic DVD.I still remember when i was small and watched Batman comics, really awesome.I was totally hooked up and yearning.Batman....oh Batman!
Waited almost 3 hours for my twin and cousin to arrive,i was like if they ain't coming,i will go by myself to watch a movie!
But they came,we had cake and left.We walked to Wekalat St. and went to Zara, shopped,we did lots of window-shopping,went into Pull And Bear and ather stores.Went to Albaraka Mall, showed it to my Egyptian cousin and twin since they never went there.
Next we went to Mecca Mall we went to Centerpoint,Bossini.I meet some of my twin's friends who never met me before.W went to eat in the food court,1 of us ate at Subway, another 1 ate at Chilli House and the 3 left ate Burger King. After that we were dropped  close from home and decided to drink Cocktails.Said goodbye to my cousin and we left home. That was my bday, really laid-back but lots of laughs. Not the best but what the heck!!! Something is always better than nothing at all :D

I recieved several emails and messages and i wanna thank everyone who remembered.......Deeply appreciated!

Early in the morning,i saw Nancy Ajram's new song "Betfakar Fi Eh?" menaing "You Are Thinking of What?" Written by the incredible Amir Taema. The music has rock riffs which is suitable and is great to hear. The video is really great oddly directed by Said El Marouk, the same guy who slaughtered Nawal Elzoughbi's "Leh Moushta'alak" (Who a Facebook friend from Lebanon reminded me that the scene of the mic were she sings,it's a copycat to Beyonce's propaganda "Diamonds"!)
Betfakar Fi Eh is great song and the video is great too.Nancy plays the guitar and have cool acting.Outstanding filming inside of what seems a satellite. The model when looking at it,kinda reminds me of a former classmate turned model Aydin Abzax! The video is fun and well directed.Cool plot and a funny one. There is one scene that is similar to Beyonce's "Ring The Alarm",when Beyonce sits crying in a room where behind her is a sea video, looks almost like the one when Nancy sings standing up in a white room too with the same but the video in the back is different.I was shocked and confused how the same director can make something bad and good after.People do mistakes........

Nawal Elzoughbi much awaited second clip is "Leh Moushta'alak"="Why Im Missing You",i watched in Youtube and was sad. There was no creativity whatsoever here,a shame that a nice lovely song like this went to waste with a forgettable video. We already saw Nawal in Nadine Labaki's "Be3enak" singing live on micro as well as in "3enek Kaddabin" by Salim El Turk and in Randa Aalam's "Shu A5barak".And we saw her beach scenes before in "Aghla El Habayeb" by Randa Aalm.I think Said El Marouk is gradually losing his touch and fine work.Where the hell was Emile Slalati or Yehya Saade? Im a huge fan of Nawal but this video is empty with nothing special or fancy, sorry!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0SCP6Wirld0

I watched Iron Man,because there was nothing to do.But i couldn't finsih it,i felt asleep.Did the movie helped me,no doubt. The script is awfully misleading and lame.Robert Downey Jr. was ok,nothing fancy with his performance. The rest of the cast was like forced to do this movie.I was just excited to see Jeff Bridges, the new look just suits him good. And he is brilliant like always.
I cracked up when i heard the fat man speaking egyptian arabic,oh i didn't know there was one of those.
Anyway will continue to watch it tonight too....
I just hope Marvel don't make crappy movies with crappy actors just for the money!

Tomorrow is my b'day,yupi...21.I don't know if im doing something big,my cousin came from Egypt so maybe i will go out with him.And another cousin who i know recently back in 2005 or something anyway.Im surprised at my uncles from the father side,i mean i have a bunch of cousins who i never knew or heard of or met in my life. There are a couple of uncles who had multiply marriages and it's no surprise to Arabs.Since the religion allows it and peple get into it.Bottom line..i don't have any plans, just hanging out.I mean this year was kinda weird and off-the-track,quitting my job and life in Panama, coming back here and dealing with new stuff was kinda overwhelming but this is the way it supposed to be.And i do deal with anything that is in my way. It's a year, not that important.Won't do something fancy tomorrow but i can be almost sure,i will have more fun when i turn 22!

Teach U 07/26/2008

My cousin Mohamad Karim came from Egypt yesterday,i was delighted to see him. It's been like 4 years since i last saw him, when i was living in Shemesani. He is just coming for a week so i might go out with him and my twin on my birthday.Been spending time in Flickr, enjoying some people's photography.

And fell in love with Rayan's new song called "HaAlemak" meaning "I Will Teach U" it's great in a lyrical point of view and the melody,oh it's something else,it's simply AWESOME!
This is Rayan's first Egyptian song,he started off singing Lebanese but is trying ather dialects now.

The director is Joe Abou Eid,lebanese director.I enjoyed watching this fliming alongside "Neswanji" of Fares Karam by Emile Salalati. In the making of "HaAlemak" shows Rayan with limited acting, which was surprising although in previous clips are well-acted!
The video has a feel of old classical movie atmosphere. But it breaks by the end, where his lover is in a party and everything and everybody looks modern. She puts some poison on a glass and is served to Rayan,he drinks it and falls down.At the end of the video, back to old times,he leaves and his lover desprately follows him,he looks at her in distain. He sure teaches her!!
The video has great filming but odd stupid cast.Everything was great until it became modern.I don't know if it's only me but i think Rayan became a lot chunkier?

According to Wikipedia, the movie is slighlty based on the book.Of course film-makers wanted 100% to get this movie amercanized so it can be widely popular. This truely wasn't what i was expecting. The script is poorly developed.

P.S is about a widow and the aftermath of her husband death. The cast was not that remarkable.Lisa Kudrow still can't get away from Phoebe's shadow.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan performance was nice and he has a great Irish accent, probably i would say better than Gerard Butler.Total Result: 5/10
So Should i read the book?? Definitely :)

Likely tonight i will continue reading The Zahir from where i last left off......

"Sweet Revenge"? 07/23/2008

The Brave One is a drama and crime movie starring heavyweight actress Jodie Foster. The whole film is a twist. It can guarantee you to not know how the ending will turn out. It's about a couple who get attacked by 3 thugs. They severely injure both of them but manage to fatally wound her Fiance (Naveen Andrews),she survives.Post-trauma comes and she deals with it by taking the law in her two hands.I can slightly compared to A Time to Kill in meaning of a person going "An Eye for An Eye".

There not lots of movie with a female leading criminal, reason why this is nice to see.The plot is puzzling and sometimes falls ridiculous.Bizzare situation where normal human brians won't accept. On this movie you get to see some Jodie Foster's charms as well as brilliant acting.Nicky Katt is great.Terrence Howard is not bad here, although i try to convience myself that he is an-ok-actor or at least an actor! Because all of i've seen from Terrence are all safe performances, nothing two thumbs-up acting.

In another news i present y'all one of the most loving moments i ever seen. It's truely breath-taking.I absolutely adore this video. It have a nice message. It has the right music playing in the back. This is super duper sweet and for some people, they will get teary eyes!

The decades-old footage of a full-grown lion joyously
embracing two young men like an affectionate house cat has made myriad eyes misty since it recently landed on YouTube. What is it about the old, grainy images of Christian the lion that has attracted some 3 million hits and counting?

Is it simply that a lion remembered the two men who raised it and then released it into the wild? Is it nostalgia for a simpler time 39 years ago, when you could walk into Harrods department store in London, stroll through the “exotic animals” section, and buy a live lion cub? Is it a longing for the swinging Austin Powers-era London of 1969, when you could take the animal home to a basement flat, play with it in a nearby churchyard, and even take it to dinner in swanky restaurants?

The answer may be all of the above. After all, people love animals, and there are few things as enthralling as a lion that could kill a person with one swipe of its paw acting like a pussycat with people who obviously love it. Top it off with Whitney Houston’s sentimental love song “I Will Always Love You” as background music, and you have keyboards shorting out all over America from the tears dripping on them.

Also i sent my few contacts in Myspace,a notice that i will be shutting it down.Myspace is not that great, maybe somewhere in the world or to somebody, not to me.I think it's boring and complex.I like way much Facebook or....my own website! I had Myspace for quite a while but i mean band add you over and people in your life you haven't see and if they add you, they don't talk to you, they just have you there.

So yesterday i went to Applebee's and met with my friend Harout and new friends he made.Met them and made a few jokes around.I didn't 90% of thier staff are Asian guys,it's surprising.I already noticed a few Asian girls at Books @ Cafe too.So i don't know what's going on,is there lack of employment that people from ather countries are working here or there is big rate of employment in Jordan?

I assume most of them,do not speak any arabic. Are all people who go there bilingual?
Don't know,i took a cap back home from Harout's and the driver had good english!
English is considered to be Jordan's second language officially but not all people speak it fluently.

After ordering an Applebee's Strawberry Daiquiri,we went to drop off Sam,she teaches and studys at the NYIT.She have some Hemingway books so im definietly considering in borrowing some.We then went to Fitness One and asked for suscriptions.Drove back to Harout's place and his friend dropped us there.Spend some time in his house, took pictures then we went walking to Shmesani, ate at Chilli House, walked more and turned back to his place.Found Karoun and his cousin Sara.Talked and laughed.Had to leave, got The Brave One and P.S I Love You movies, which im looking foward to watch.

Un Dia En Flickr 07/19/2008

I was going thru my old Pulp's and just looking at the photography pages they have. And i remember that the issue of April the artist featured were part of my inspiration to draw "Doorsteps...".The day i got that issue,i stared for long time to those drawings, closed it and went to the neariest bookstore and bought a big drawing book, pencil, rubber and went in to the guest room, sat down and start drawing.

Also i noticed many photographers and looked them up in Flickr and found a few. There's on (Nadijib Aktouf) in particular that i liked and commented on his fantastic art.He replied to me,appreciating my comments and invited me to his gallery in Radisson SAS,it will be open until August so im considering visiting the gallery soon.

If u wanna look at his wonderful pictures;

I ran out of movies as i stated before so i was bored last night, listened to some music and then when i was done, picked up "The Zahir" and start reading it.

I enjoyed downloading and listening songs from various singers and to my favourite singer,my
teacher Marwan Khoury,i was in http://www.mazikana.com, downloading some songs of his thrid album "Aser El Shou" really romantic and charming!

Also today finished up uploading my collection of photography in Flickr;

That's all for now....
Cheers~

Time to kill:
Deep, gripping.Seemed like i forgot how good actor is Matthew McConaughey! Great cast, great plot, fantastic script but for me the story is doubtful in some point.Murder is still murder!

I just noticed yesterday while watching Time to Kill, how skinny i am.My arm when looking at it from an angle looks scary thin.Im not even sure if i weight 60kg,i remember that was the number i got when i weighted myself back in Panama, last year.I don't know if im heavier or ligter now.

Both my parents were slim when they were young, today they ain't!
From the father side i can say most of all my uncles have pot-bellies but it's not the same case with my Panamanians relatives, they are average. All my siblings are fit too.

I never struggled or had any issues, never suffered from eating disorders. Not to mention that i don't get sick often, probably only 4 times a year.I don't deny that i don't feel so hyper sometimes....

I heard lots of comments about my weight over the years, still to this day from my family....my twin,my cousins,my aunts.I want to gain weight but it takes time and cash.

I love to eat,i love healthy food and love junk food as well, actually i grew up on McDonald's.But ever since i moved to Panama back in 2005,i changed my lifestyle.Lots of white meat, fruits, grain wheat, organic products was mainly what i ate.Boiling,smoked,fat-free,healthy food.
I try to have a balance always although i have a sweet tooth yeah,i admitt.
Sometimes i hate how slim i am but i love it,i love how i look,im happy.I get to fit anywhere, wear anything.Maybe after all i have a freak metabolism.I do take good care of myself so that in the future i stay as healthy as i can.

Moving on to something (more) interesting,i happen to see a video by Beirut Biloma on Melodytv,I Wanna Dance In Beirut sung by Lix with Dj Kebbe,Thier music is Electro,Trance.Beirut Biloma is not new at all, maybe for me is.This song is a nice club-material,in fact all of thier songs are in that direction. They worked thier magic touch producing to many famous artists songs Marwan Khoury,Maria,Elissa,Cheb Mami,Nisrine Zriek,Ahmad Abanda,Kadem Elsaher and Sarah Brightman.Thier new album is Electrojerk.

If you wanna hear what im talking about.....(This ain't the official video)

I couldn't re-watch Pursuit of Happyness due to that is a damaged copy.Watched the first half hour, based on what i remember i review it as follow:
Intense,Will Smith is a great versatile actor. Will's son Jayden is featured in the movie and he has good acting abilities.Thandie is terrific and so incredible. This is based on a true story which makes is more and more realistic and loveable!

I enjoyed the past days reading over Wikipedia, the article about Ernest Hemingway,Kevin Smith and the subject of Spiritual in meaning of a religious practice.I grew fond of all to be honest.

Also while on Yahoo, came across the news about that William Petersen best known as Grissom on CSI: Las Vegas will be leaving the show,it's sad since he is the main character of the hit series. Not to mention that Jorja Fox and Gary Dourdan has already left but will make apperances in the future.
Grissom,u will be missed!

All the cast have good english. The movie was brilliant, interesting and well-crafted.A Story full of hope and love that reigns any situation and anybody. It was all captivating.Ziyi Zhang was fantastic! 8/10!

And so all i watched most of all movies i borrowed from my cousin, have to see if i can visit them sometime or something so i can return them.I have Pursuit of Happyness which i watched long before when it was already out when i was in Panama, will re-watch it and i got Time to Kill.

This what im listening to all day,all day.Carole Samaha is way too talented which is great.Such a powerful voice. One of my fave. This is "Jeet" meaning "You Came" a new song from the musical she is in "Bahr El Nojoom" = Sea of The Stars alongside of Bridget Yagi,Ahmad Alsharif,Haifa Wahbi,Rouwaida Almahrougi and Wael Kafouri.
